Wilson Area Athletic Department Announces Appointment of Jim Brady as Head Varsity Football Coach

The Wilson Area Athletic Department is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Brady as the next Head Varsity Football Coach, effective December 18th, 2023.

Brady, a seasoned professional with a background as a former collegiate football player and high school head football coach, brings a wealth of experience to his new role within the Wilson Area School District. His background includes playing college football at East Stroudsburg University, coaching at Wilson Area beginning in the 2000s, and serving as the High School’s Defensive Coordinator from 2007 to 2009. Notably, he played a role as a High School Assistant Coach during the program’s two PIAA State Championship appearances. Following his tenure at Wilson Area, he served as the Head Coach at Palisades from 2010-2011.

Currently a dedicated teacher at Wilson Area Intermediate School, Brady’s commitment to both education and athletics is commendable, making him a valuable addition to the Warrior Family.
