Key Returning Players:
Nathan Loch – Senior, 6’0″, SS, 0.423 BA, .512 OBP, 4 doubles, 9 RBI’s, 41 SB (school record), 31 Runs
Nathan is a three year starter who does everything for our team. He shattered the school record (24) for stolen bases in a single season with 41. Nathan had a blistering start during the first half of last year, but an injury during the back half of last season hampered his ability to perform at his all league level. He is very strong defensively with a high baseball IQ. Nathan is a young man who has committed to the weight room and we expect him to build on his fantastic junior season at the top of the order. He earned 2nd team IF – Monroe Division as a sophomore and 1st team IF – All EPC as a junior. His senior leadership is vital to our success. Nathan will attend college in the fall where he hopes to continue his baseball career.

Nate Mostosky – Senior, 6’0″, LHP/1B, 28.1inn, 2.71 ERA, 4 wins, 25 K’s
Nate started his junior season on the injured list after suffering a freak injury to his non throwing hand prior to the beginning of the season. He returned in late April and was phenomenal on the mound. He twirled two complete game shutouts against rivals PM East and Stroudsburg. He earned 1st team P – Monroe Division. Nate will be one of our workhorses on the mound this year as big things are expected of him. He will also need to play a key role at the plate as his production offensively will be important to the team’s success. Nate will be attending Northampton Community College in the fall to continue his baseball career.

Ben Mostosky – Senior, 6’1″, RHP/1B/3B, 20.1 inn, 3.09 ERA, 2 wins, 21 K’s
Like his brother, Ben will be relied upon heavily and expected to be a workhorse on the mound this season. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury to his shoulder last season which prevented him from pitching. He has worked very hard in the weight room this offseason and is healthy and raring to go. Ben will need to work deep into games for us to be successful. Offensively, his bat will be vital in the middle of the order. Ben will be attending Northampton Community College in the fall to continue his baseball career.

Jack Smale – Senior, 5’10″, LHP/1B/OF, 0.328 BA, .449 OBP, 1 double, 3 triples, 13 RBI, 20 Runs, 17 SB’s
Jack brings great leadership to our program. As a 3 year starter, he will be relied upon heavily to generate runs in the middle of our lineup. In addition to his bat, he has a high baseball IQ and offers plus defense and speed and so he impacts the game in every way. He earned 1st team OF – Monroe Division during his sophomore and junior seasons. Jack’s commitment in the weight room and on the diamond have set the tone for our program, especially the younger guys. His leadership will be counted on heavily. Jack will be attending Northampton Community College in the fall to continue his baseball career.

Key Newcomers:
Dakota Lucas – Junior, 5’10″, P/IF
Anden Bordick – Sophomore, 5’7″, P/OF
Kole Henry – Sophomore, 5’6”, 2B/3B
Ty Borger – Freshman, 6’0”, P/3B
Sam Smale – Freshman, 6’0” P/3B

2023 Outlook: We have a solid core group of guys returning from last year’s team. Our younger guys need to step up and play key roles if we want to achieve our goals. There are many questions we look to answer as we get ready for the 2023 season.
