Matt Senneca is ready for his new role as Whitehall Head Coach

Like father like son for Matt and Sam Senneca. The two have a great bond and have coached together at a number of different locations. Earlier this year, Matt was named the new football coach for the Whitehall Zephyrs and his dad followed along to become the schools’ new Defensive Coordinator.

Senneca had a successful career at Quarterback in high school for Central Catholic and then in college for Penn State. With his playing days behind him, Senneca is now focused on getting back on the sidelines as the head man, for the first time since his head coaching days at Wilson Area. That span lasted two years and saw the Warriors go 3-17 overall.

Since that time, Senneca got coaching stints at Parkland and most recently Emmaus, where he spent the last three seasons. He will take over a program that went just 2-8 overall in 2018. He will get his first taste as an EPC head coach on August 23, 2019, when Whitehall opens the season against East Stroudsburg South.
