Phillipsburg Boys Bowling Advances in State Playoffs

The fourth seed, Phillipsburg, hosted the fifth seed, Kearny, for round two of the NJSIAA State Playoffs.

Phillipsburg rolled a strong game one with an 874 to Kearny’s 788. In game two, Kearny shot their best game of the season, with a 967 to the Liners 901. In the final game, PBurg pulled out the win 973 to 849.

Phillipsburg was led by Marvin Jaquish who rolled a 677 series (201, 220, 256).

Phillipsburg will advance to the semifinals and roll their match late next week.
