Outlook: This season will definitely be different due to COVID-19 concerns. While it seems to be that we will not be having any championship meets this year, we hope to see improvement across the board time-wise for the team.

What is the key to your season?

Our goal, first and foremost, is to follow all COVID-19 protocol to create a safe environment to help us carry out our season as planned.  Because this season is unlike any other, our other goal of the season is to see consistent improvement from all swimmers.

Who are your leaders on your team and why?

I would consider three team members to be crucial leaders on our team.  Nikki Sripathi is a senior and has been swimming competitively for many years.  She is always a contributor to the team and works a lot behind the scenes to reach out to everyone on the team and work on team bonding.  Genine Collins is a junior and leads by strong example.  Genine is always willing to work hard and never has a negative attitude.  Finally, Katie Carroll, a junior, is another leader on our team who leads with her constant positive attitude.

Any newcomers that could impact your team this year and why?

Alison Stucker – incoming freshman who has past competitive swim experience with the Nazareth-Easton YMCA.
