Phillipsburg Takes the Win Over North Hunterdon

The Phillipsburg boy’s basketball team hosted North Hunterdon on Wednesday, February 14. At the end of the first quarter, PBurg led 14-5.

At half, they continued to dominate, leading North Hunterdon 28 to 17.

Phillipsburg added to it’s lead in the second half, they led 41 to 25 at the end of the third quarter.

The final score was PBurg 58, North Hunterdon 36.

Major contributions on PBurg’s side were from Matthew Scerbo Jr., who had 22 points, and Ameer Herran with 16 points.

Phillipsburg is 22-2 on the season.

On Saturday, they face West Morris.
