Key Returning Players:
Julia MacPhee – #13 – Sophomore – Pitcher
Julia is a leader both on and off the field. She was our primary pitcher last year and will return to that role this season. She continues to strengthen her pitching arm and will challenge all batters who she faces. She will bat early in the lineup as a power hitter.

Olivia Marasco – #2 – Sophomore – 1st Base
Olivia is stepping into big shoes at first base after a 4-year starter graduated in 2023. Olivia has a long stretch and gets in front of the ball keeping it in play and recording outs.

Mya Blose – #5 – Junior – C/Outfield
Mya will take her place on varsity this season and is expected to contribute from day one. She is a hard-working catcher, who is also a utility outfielder.

Jacquline PIttius – #4 – Senior – 2nd Base
Jackie has stepped up and is set to be a force for the middle infield. Her quick glove and fast release make her a solid wall at 2nd base.

Kemaley Hamilton – #1 – Senior – Outfield
Kemaley is a four-year starter and brings consistency and strength to the outfield. She has developed speed to go with her fielding skills.

Antoinette “Nettie” Phelan – #7 – Senior – Outfield
Nettie joined varsity last season and contributed from day one. In the off-season, Nettie focused on hitting and is set to be a vital member of the Panther lineup.

Mia Ariola – #9 – Senior – Outfield
Mia is lightning-fast on the base paths and has worked in the offseason to develop her bat speed to become a solid contact hitter.

Key Newcomers: Rylie Evans – #11 – Freshman – 3B
Samantha Rider – #16 – Sophomore – C
Chloe Straub – #17 – Freshman – SS/1B

2024 Outlook: Pocono Mountain West Panthers are hoping to make a statement and be a strong contender in the EPC and on The Mountain. Our biggest strength is our speed, mixed with a few very strong hitters. We will need to focus on our fundamentals and play our game soundly, as we are young and developing varsity skills.
