Coaches Comments: Sophia helps control the middle of the field for us. As a CDM its probably the position that gets the least praise on the field in terms of stats and noticeability but a position that we as a coaching staff point to when we are playing well. Sophia was instrumental in our success last year from this position and being selected captain this year shows what she means to the team. I’m excited for Sophia to take the next step as a leader her senior year and help us achieve that team-first mentality.
