David has been covering High School Football for over 20 years through his website, EasternPAFootball.com. He is a renowned expert in high school football, partnering with many news outlets like WNEP, RCN Sports Talk, Pennsylvania Football News, and National Football Foundation. He is often a guest on Keith Groller’s weekly radio show, Calling All Sports, on Fox Sports Radio. He has been a member of the Maxwell Football Club for over 15 years. He serves on the high school committee selecting players for the PA Player of the Year award.

He was born in Berwick, PA, where he followed the Dawgs under George Curry. He has called the Lehigh Valley his home since 1989. He is a 1986 graduate of Somerville High School.

A diehard Philadelphia sports fan, he follows the Phillies, Flyers and Sixers His one outlier is the Washington Football Team which he and his dad have followed his entire life.

Davids’s greatest sports memories are the big wins, like the Phillies in the 2008 World Series, Washington’s three Super Bowl wins (1983, 1988, 1992), and Berwick winning six state titles.

The sports relationships he has built throughout the years are truly special. He would not be where he is today without the help of Tom Elling, Rich Vetock, George Curry, Bo Orlando and so many others.

He is a huge fan of High School Football and believes football is at its purest at this level. He’s excited for the opportunity to cover ALL sports in D11. He lives in Nazareth with his wife and two children.

Al Di Carlo

Al is a veteran in the Sports Broadcasting Field, having served in a number of different capacities for more than a quarter century. In 2018, Al began Live streaming numerous Sports with the students from Palisades High School. His experience is giving way to students to learn the art of Broadcasting and see if this is a path they want to pursue as they move into College.

Al joined Service Electric in 1997 as a sports reporter but also dabbled in news and weather. His passion has always been sports and has enjoyed covering high school and college events along with the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Indy Car Racing, the 150th meeting between Lehigh and Lafayette at Yankee Stadium and the 2004 Superbowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots in Jacksonville, Florida.

In 2004, Al was named Assistant Sports Director and co-anchored Lehigh Valley Sports Scene, a nightly show that focused on providing highlights and stories on local sports and athletes at the high school, college, and pro level.

Prior to that, Al enjoyed his time as a Radio SportsTalk Host on both WEEX in Easton, PA and WAEB in Allentown, PA, while also broadcasting Play-By-Play for a number of different Sports not only in Radio but also on Comcast Cable in Port Murray, NJ.

Al was born in Mount Vernon, NY but has called the Lehigh Valley home for most of his life. He is a 1987 graduate of Parkland High School and a 1991 graduate of Kutztown University, where he majored in Telecommunications and minored in Journalism and Public Relations.

A diehard New York sports fan-Yankees, Giants and Islanders along with loving the Sixers, Al has been attending games his entire life; enjoying US Open Tennis matches, Islanders playoff games in the ‘80s and Yankee games with his cousins.
Al’s greatest sports memory came at the 2009 World Series and being able to watch the game six clincher against the Phillies and sharing that moment with his wife Leah.

Al loves to watch and play tennis and is an avid runner and has participated in many half marathons along with completing the New York Marathon back in 2003. He comes from a big Sicilian family with more than 25 first cousins. He lives in Orefield with his wife Leah and three terrific kids Samantha, Gia, and Giovanni.
