Assistant Coaches:
Matt Solt

Ryan King
Chase Reph
Mike Svetik

Sport: Baseball

Team Name: Palmerton Blue Bombers

League: Colonial

2024 Record: 6-14

Key Players Lost:
Jacob Grammes (2B/P)
Trevor Stroup (C)

Key Returning Players:
AJ Borger (Sr. 2B/P) – AJ will be moving to the infield to help the team. He offers contact at the plate and appeared in 9 games on the mound last season. We need AJ to take a step forward on the mound as his role will increase.

Mason George (Sr. 1B/P) – Mason started 5 games on the mound last season and will be asked to take another step forward in that department. We need Mason to continue being a leader and improve all areas of his game.

Mason Becker (Sr. OF/P) – Mason wasn’t able to pitch as much last season with an arm injury. We are looking for him to give us quality innings and compete for an OF spot. His work ethnic is noticeable.

Cameron Pengelly (Jr.. 3B/P) – Cam is manning the hot corner for a 3rd consecutive season. He needs to simplify the game and stay confident. When he’s right, there aren’t many in the league who are better. We need him to play his game and be a piece of the puzzle, not the entire puzzle.

Jason Carrelli (Jr. SS) – Jason looks more confident this year and is a huge part of our offensive success when he’s on base. We need him to solidify our infield defense and take a step forward offensively. A true baseball guy.

Brady Reph (Jr. UTIL/P) – Brady played all over the field last season and may be asked to do the same this season. His versatility and team first approach will help the team tremendously this year. He will be asked to take on a significant role on the mound.

Key Newcomers:
Greyson Ahner (So. C/3B)
Gaige McGowan (So. 1B/P)

2025 Outlook: This team returns a ton of experience from last year, only graduating two starters. Of last season’s 14 losses, we had a lead in seven of them. We need to finish games and handle the flow of the game better. For the second year in a row, we lost a starter for the season due to injury. Everyone on our roster will get opportunities to contribute at some point this season. We need everyone to be prepared when their number is called on. We are looking to improve each day.
