Eastern University Commit. Steadying leadership presence for our pitching staff and team as a whole. Primed for a tep forward at the plate this year combined with an already strong approach at the plate.
Andrew Gilbert, Senior, LF: .273 avg, .375obp, 12rbis
Strong bat that gets better throughout the season with more reps. Started LF as a freshman in our 2022 District Championship game against Blue Mountain.
Matthew Chaffier, Sophomore, 3b/P/IF: .294 avg, .435 obp, 16 rbis
Stepped into the three hole his freshman year and consistently worked good at bat after good at bat. Should see an increased role as a pitcher this season, absolute gamer.

Took on a large role as a freshman last season and performed without fear. Has already played a lot of high caliber baseball, should be a huge part of the team on the mound and at the plate.

2025 Outlook: This is a group of Seniors that have been a part of three straight district titles, they are no stranger to high pressure situations and good competition. Almost all of our pitching staff is back from last years team. We have a top tier starter in Cole Hubert and a battery mate in Zack Male that will be a steadying presence for the younger guys on our pitching staff. Defense should be stout and offense is primed to take a step forward as our guys are one year older in their development.
Who steps up in the pitching staff? Do the guys needed for success take a step forward in all facets of the game? Can we limit mental mistakes?
