Key Returning Runners:
Miles Etters (Jr.) : Leagues (2024 : 4th, 2023 : 12th), Districts (2024 : 9th, 2023 : 25th), State Qualifier (2024 : 182nd). Miles made great improvements since his freshman year and will be counted on to excel under pressure situations, specifically in the postseason, and to also be a vocal leader of the boys team. He currently holds the 6th fastest time on SL’s home course.

Stanley Wempe (Jr.) : Leagues (2024 : 16th, 2023 : 29th), Districts (2024 : 54th, 2023 : 48th). Stanley made huge strides from the beginning of his sophomore year through the postseason. He had his best race of the season at the Colonial League Championship and will be counted on this season. Stanley has excellent athleticism and potential.

Oli Ruggeri (So.) : Leagues (2024 : 26th), Districts (2024 : 49th) : Oli had a solid freshman year while consistently being a top 7 varsity runner. He is a fearless runner and has had an excellent summer of training. Oli has the potential to have a breakout sophomore year.

Nick Sajez (So.) : Leagues (2024 : 32nd), Districts (2024 : 39th). Nick had a solid freshman year while being a top 7 varsity runner. He has great athleticism and has the potential for a breakout sophomore year.

Gabe Ruggeri (Sr.) : Leagues (2024 : 37th, 2023 : 27th, 2022 : 25th), Districts (2023 : 47th, 2022 : 50th). Gabe has become the vocal leader of the boys team and always gives 110% effort while being a key contributor to the team. He is our returning captain.

Jules Thornton (So.) : Jules had a solid freshman year and with an excellent summer of training, he has the potential for a breakout sophomore year.

Keene Etters (So.) : Keene had a solid freshman year and has gotten stronger as a runner this summer. He has the potential for a breakout sophomore season.

2025 Outlook: The boys team has a nice mix of veteran leadership and experience while having numerous underclassman making an immediate impact. Led by experienced runners M. Etters (state qualifier), Wempe, and G. Ruggeri the boys are primed to defend their Colonial League Championship and look to qualify for the state championship meet.

With a talented sophomore class, this years boys team has a great amount of depth. The boys team will be tested by excellent competition at the Lion Invitational, Centaur Invitational, and Paul Short.
