The Parkland Trojans take home the win and advance to District XI 6A finals, after a dominating game against Nazareth. The Trojans won the regular season meeting against Nazareth with the final score being 42-6.
On November 7th, the Trojans showed similar strength during the second round of playoffs, at Orefield Football Stadium. Parkland (seeded 2nd, with a record of 11-0) ,and once again beat Nazareth (seeded 3rd, with a record of 8-3) 35-14.
Tj Lawrence, Naquon Thomas, Finn Coen scored for Parkland. Both Lawrence and Coen found the end zone twice, helping their team tremendously.
For the Blue Eagles, Marques Wimberly made two touchdowns, putting 14 points on the scoreboard late into the game but Parkland would pull out the win.
District XI 6A Championship will take place next week at BASD Stadium. Parkland will now go to finals with a record of 12-0, and will have a thrilling game against the Easton Red Rovers who are also 12-0. Nazareth finished their season with a 8-3 record.
