Two Straight Wins for Lehighton Girls Soccer

The Lehighton Indians hosted the North Schuylkill Spartans in Girls Soccer Thursday evening. After starting 0-3, the Indians picked up their first win of the season against the Wilson Warriors on Monday. They looked to carry that momentum into tonight’s game.

The first half was loaded with shots from the Indians. The only score in the game came with 9:45 left in the second half, scored by junior Ashley Marchessault. The Spartans attempted four shots to the Indians twenty-one.

The Indians record is now 2-3. They hope to continue the winning streak this Saturday as they travel to Nativity for a 10:00AM start time.
