Throughout the week the two schools showed their pride and participated in spirit week, banquets, pep rallies, and bonfires. On the day of the game, students arrived at the Paul Farnan field at nine in the morning to start tailgates, painting, etc. There were many alumni at the game from both Bangor and Pen Argyl. Many different television and radio stations did live broadcasts of the game as well.

Everyone showed up to the 100th game ready to cheer on their respective team. Looking into the bleachers, you saw one of two things, maroon or green.

This game was filled with strong emotions for players, families, students, alumni, and everyone else who attended.

The Pen Argyl Knights took the 100th game win against the Bangor Slaters 31-16. This will be a game that will go down in history and be cherished for years to come.
