2023 Outlook:
Overall:
We return an experienced core group of players who have been great leaders throughout the off-season on the field, in the locker room, and in the community. Last season they built on the lessons they learned as sophomore starters and helped us to earn a District Playoff berth. We feel they have the discipline, work ethic, and competitive drive that will lead us back to the playoffs. To accomplish that goal we will need our underclassmen to develop confidence as they gain experience and to be ready when we need them to step up.

Offense: There is a balance in our returning starters on the Offensive Line and in the Backfield. Greg Campbell will move from wide receiver (39-308, 5 TDs) to QB and will join Noah Hillis and Riley Stapp in the backfield. Dylan Krugh returns for his fourth year on the OLine and will be joined by returners Parker Sandt and Sam Woolverton. There will be competition amongst a number of multi-sport athletes for starting positions at wide receiver. Coach Andrews will continue to maximize the strengths of his skill and line players, implementing a physical, ball control offense.

Defense: There is a solid core of returners on this side of the ball at all three levels. We will implement schemes that are simple and allow them to use their athletic ability and be physical. Communication should be a strength for this group, our leaders understand our scheme, study film, and recognize tendencies. We will look to improve in the two areas that hurt us most last season; not forcing turnovers and not stopping the big play.
