Key Returning Players:
Arieanna Sherman: Senior, 282 kills, 82 solo blocks, 40 Aces in Junior year; District XI Class A First Team and PVCA Class A All-State Team both Sophomore and Junior Years. Arieanna will again hold down the middle hitter position and be relied upon for her hitting and blocking skills from this position.
Ryliegh Sinko: Senior, 246 digs, 657 assists, 32 Aces during her junior year. Ryliegh will again be running the team’s offense as our returning setter. She eclipsed the 1000 career assist mark during her junior year campaign.
Emma Lieberman: Senior, 214 digs. Emma is a defensive specialist for the team and will again be the team’s libero.
Sara Spolski: Junior, 215 digs, 130 kills, 35 aces during her sophomore season. Sara is a 6-rotation player who will play the outside hitter position again this year.
Julianna Carlson: Junior, 45 kills, 45 solo blocks during her sophomore season. Julianna will again play the middle blocker position and be relied upon for her hitting and blocking skills from this position.
Key Newcomers:
Chloe Motto: Senior. Chloe will move from a serving specialist position to a right-side hitter for her senior season.
Carly Brunn: Senior. Carly will move from a serving specialist position to a defensive specialist for her senior season.
Abbi Greenhalgh: Senior. Abbi saw action as a defensive specialist as a junior and will be counted on as a defensive specialist during her senior campaign.
Grace Brennan: Senior. Grace will be playing the outside hitter position for her senior season.
2023 Outlook: The Green Wave Volleyball team has high expectations for its 2023 campaign. The team is looking to build on its experience from the 2022 postseason and is looking forward to continuing the tradition of the program’s success.
The team will be led by a strong senior group. Serving will again be a strong point for the team and depth, experience and hitting will be advantages for the Green Wave. Finding consistency, especially with passing both on serve/receive and defense will be the key to the outcome of the team’s success.
