Boys 3rd at District XI meet 2023 Record 13-3
Girls 6th at District XI meet 2023 record 10-6
2024 Outlook: My boys have the potential to be very competitive this season. I lost two great runners in Gio Mastrmanaco and Sean Gorman but, I have two state qualifiers back. Seniors JT Cunningham and Ryan Wack have worked hard this summer and are ready to step up. Junior Jacob Casey had a great spring running a 4:27 mile. I look for him to be one of the top runners in the district also.
What I will need is some of the other runners to step up their game if we are going to compete. Soph. Joey Dente and seniors Colin Wagner had a great summer training. Some newcomers juniors Jon Knepp and Kyle Homa could add to our depth.
As always everyone looks good when working out together. We will see what happens when the gun goes off.
Girls should be a very competitive team. Two time state qualifier Sr.Kylie Karavith is looking to lead the much improved girls squad. Juniors Helaina Acker, Talia Kwatkoski, Maddy Guzevich, Delaney Schoeneberger had a great summer of training. Like the boys team will see what happens when we get out on the race course.
The goals for the boys team to qualify for the state meet, we were third last season. I think the girls squad has the potential to be a top five team in the district.
