Top newcomers:
We have 4 incoming talented freshman that already made a good impact with the team off season. They helped Ilya win a few indoor tournaments and a couple friendlies.
Aubrey Stamets is one of the most talented girls Jim Thorpe will have. She is naturally talented with great focus and vision.
Amber Lange is another player that is naturally talented incoming freshman. She has been working hard with us off season and has made quick improvements with some important areas. I expect she’ll be one of our top goal scorer’s.
Izzy Roman is a natural athlete that will make a big impact in our defending third and is also a natural athlete that picks things up quickly. Her 4 year high school will be very productive in play and growth.
Taylor Paul will be our starting goalkeeper. This is a new venture for her but she has been to keeper trading camps and trainings and I expect her grow into the keeper we need to replace Olivia Rosenberger.
2024 Outlook: Last season I had to recruit heavily from the middle school with new to the sport or under coached players. Since then, the girls worked hard on fundamentals and individual’s, along with team play. I expect a big improvement as a team and in return a better record.
