2025 Offensive Outlook: With most of the offensive skill positions returning and now under the 2nd year in this offense, look for the Cardinal offense to be more efficient. The keys for the Cardinals to have a successful year offensively are:
-Have 6 or more explosive plays [20+ yard pass plays & 12+ yard run plays]
-No consecutive drives with a 3 & out
-Be 85% or higher scoring efficiency inside the redzone
-Score points (3 or 6) 75% or higher when inside the 30
-Plays run 20 seconds or under
-60% run 40% pass
2025 Defensive Outlook: With a better understanding of our defensive philosophy and their assignments, the defense will look to improve with some familiar faces in key positions. With some more depth and added schemes, the defense should be much stronger this season.
-Get off the field on 3rd and long situations (3rd & 8+)
-6 or less missed tackles a game
-Limit explosive plays (Less than six 20+ yard plays)
-Create 1+ Turnover a game
-Allow 250 yards or less a game
