Key Returning Players:
Emma Ziajka, Senior, Co- Captain, – Emma played #1 singles last year. With her strong serve and ground strokes, we are looking forward to seeing her succeed in the top singles position. Seniors, Chloe Ryan, Alison Arthurton (Co-Captain), Skora Ndikwiki, and Destiny Steinmetz will be returning this season as well and will be represented in the starting line up. These girls have really shown their dedication to the program with their commitment to training and conditioning in the off season. They all have improved their skills and stamina. I am excited to see what they will accomplish this year.
We are looking to Senior Jasmine Eberts, and Juniors Serenity Sanchez, Maddy Miller, Naeun Choi, and Skylar Foster to fill our doubles positions. Also on deck are returning Sophmores, Kate Behun, Lily Hess, and Tomorrow LoPresti. Their athleticism, power and desire to improve their skills will be integral to our team’s success.
Key Newcomers: Newcomers this year include Juniors Amanda Thierer and Adrien Arthurton, and Freshman Emily Genery.
2025 Outlook: It is our good fortune to have a deep team to pull from. We lost three of our top players to graduation, but everyone else has returned from last year’s team, so experience will be on our side this year. We have some tough opponents, but I believe if we keep working hard and developing our skills, we will be a very competitive team. This is a dedicated and hard-working group of girls. I look forward to seeing our team have fun, grow and improve throughout the season.
