He will have a busy traveling the country on recruiting trip for football being one of the top q b recruits in the country. Also look for Marquez Wimberly, to have a break out season. There are a few newcomers that could help in this area Owen Hall ,Zach Noel, Alex McKinney Jumps will be lead by Austin Boyce, Keller Rupp and a slew of newcomers.
The throwing area is where we took the biggest hit so we will be looking to see who comes out of the pack in that area. As always we are focused on developing the talent we have and take them as far as they can go. At the same time hoping to see improvement among the rest of the team.
Girls:
The distance running team will be much improved. Kylie Karavitch is back in the mid distance as district Ruuner up in the800 last season. Delaney Schoeneberger (Xc state qualifier) Helaina Acker and Maddy Guzevich had a great cross country season. We are looking to propel that into a great track season. In the Sprints and Hurdles we have Amanda Mercurius back. She is one of the top sprinters in the area and a state qualifier. Madison Jankowski, Chai Brown and Hurdlers Reese Davis and Camryn Hoff should add depth in that area.
We took a big hit in the jump areas so we have a opportunity for newcomers to shine in this area top jumper are Alexia Davis in the high, Anya Lherisson and Olivia Nerone in the long and triple. In the throw we will have some young kids that did well last season. We will be looking to see a steady improvement in these young ladies, Skyelar Umstead, Olivia Hobbs, Addison Hinkle, Madalyn Yeakel among a cast of other promising new comers.
As with the boys growth and development is the key to our success this season. We need the veterans to step up and help lead the young newbies for success.
