Key Players Lost: Morgan Karasek, Casey Walsh, Madeline Miner, Dani Hess, Avery Schiavone, Jordan Hendricks and Faith Thompson all graduated.
Key Returning Players: We have four seniors Nicole Smith , Emma Stout, Brooke Baker and Madison Kluska. They will be looked upon for leadership and consistency. Brooke Baker and McCormick Karner are returning spot starters.
Key Newcomers: Jayleigh Figurski, Analise Mendez, Emily Ohland, Brynn Holland, Brooke Edwards, Emma Toth and Madeline Stout.
Outlook: Team should do well if: Everyone stays healthy both physically and mentally and plays within the structure of the program. The confidence and success from last year needs to carry over to this season.
Team will struggle if: We stop working hard or overlook any team on our schedule. The success last year did not happen by chance. We worked hard and earned it. Can’t take any day for granted because you never know if or when the next shutdown will happen.
Team outlook: Not sure… Have not been together that much this year because of COVID-19… Everyone is competing to make each other better. We are working hard as an entire program (Coaches, Players and Managers)
