Sport: Wrestling

Team Name: Blue Mountain Eagles

League: Schuylkill- Div I

2021 Record: 2-13

Key Returning Players:

Colin Seefeldt- Senior, 114, 60-29
Colin is our lone Senior this season, and expect him to lead the team inside and outside of the wrestling room. He battles for every position and feels comfortable in scrambles.

Payton Fasnacht- Junior, 145, 27-15
Payton gets right to work at the whistle, and is all business out there. I expect him to step up and be a leader this season too.

Sayyidakbar Akbarov, Junior, 152, 14-12
Sayyidakbar is quick for a middleweight. We are looking to add depth to his game to capitalize on his speed. When everything clicks, I think the success will follow.

Kaden Brish- Junior, 133, 33-18
Kaden is quick and strong at his weight. Has the knowledge to put it all together this season. Will be a leader for us this season as part of the junior class.

Key Newcomers:
Cole Fry- Freshman, 107
Bryce Bodenberg- Freshman, 121
Owen Woll- Freshman, 139

2022 Outlook: Our biggest strength this season will be a full roster. The last few years with Covid-19 and such, really hurt our numbers. I truly believe there’s strength in numbers, so I made a concerted effort to fill our room again.

Our biggest question mark, with only a single Senior, is who will also step-up as a leader for our program, not only for this season, but for the years to come as well.
