Emmaus Falls To Parkland In Boys Basketball

Parkland hosted Emmaus to open up the Trojans’ season. For Emmaus, they’ve played two games already this season both being defeats. They looked to bounce back tonight but Parkland wasn’t going to let that happen.

Emmaus played a very good physical first half and held the lead at the half 29-27. Bohman had 13 in the first half and led Emmaus’ scoring.

Parkland’s halftime talk worked really well. They came out in the second half unstoppable. They outscored the Hornets 16-8 in the third quarter.

Parkland continued their dominating second half outscoring the Hornets 18-12 in the fourth quarter. Danny Bohman’s 26 points were not enough for the Hornets. Melady for Parkland had 16 and that led the Trojans’ scoring. His success helped lead the Trojans to victory.

Emmaus fell to 0-3 on the young season and Parkland started 1-0. Parkland will take on the Vikings of Allentown Central Catholic on Thursday. For the Hornets, they are still searching for win number one and will get a chance to get it this Thursday against Northampton.
