Outlook: After losing our top two players last year (Louis Gruber and David Lynn three years at top two positions) and only returning three from the 2019 team, this year will be a different look Hurricanes. We will have a strong team with some top to bottom depth, but with players playing in unfamiliar positions.
Like most teams in the EPC, I expect many players to have to adjust to new expectations since missing a year of play. Luckily, we will are bringing in significant youth with 12 freshmen which we look forward to developing! Though we will be younger, our kids have been working hard in preparing and are eager in getting started after a pandemic shortened season last year.
