2025 Outlook:
(Girls)
The NL Girls return a loaded mid-distance team, including a 4x800m Relay team consisting of Moffitt, Gordon, Heil, and Katelynn Barthold that finished 9th in the state last year. Katelynn Barthold received a 7th place medal at the 2024 State Championship Meet in the 800m. Evelynn Mayak returns as a dominant 100 Hurdler (9th at the State Championship Meet for the past two years) and competes on the 4x400m Relay team that will be tough to beat. Senior Dekota Barthold is a consistent asset for the NL squad, leading the female throwing department and showing off her versatility with her ability to run the 100m High Hurdles. Overall the NL girls have a lot to be excited about with a well rounded attack. With experience and proven talent from a year ago, they have many goals for the season.

(Boys)
Throwing Coach Derek Long will look to lead the bulldogs and collect potentially the most dual meet points in his area of expertise. Chris Frame showed very nice promise as a sprinter last season and will look to continue that momentum with a year of varsity competition under his belt. Overall the NL boys team is young, however coaches are optimistic that a good work ethic and focus will keep them competitive this spring.
