Key Returning Players:
Jacob Grammes (Sr. INF/P) – .314 BA, 14 R, 22 Hits, 20 RBIs, 1 HR, 2 Wins, 22 IP, 25Ks
Jake will be asked to pick up a heavier load on the mound this season and drive in runs when the opportunities arise. Jake has the most experience of anyone as a 3 year starter so he will be heavily leaned on.
Cameron Pengelly (Soph. INF/P) – .311 BA, 11 Runs, 14 Hits, 8 RBIs,
Cam played outstanding as a freshman and will be asked to do more at the plate and pick up innings on the mound. Cam is as hard of a worker that we have and should pair with Jake as a good 1-2 punch.
Brayden Hosier (Sr. OF/INF/P) – 8 RBIs, 2 Wins, 4 Saves
Brayden can play anywhere but catcher and his versatility will be key. He closed 4 games last season and will be a key reliever again this season.
Trevor Stroup (Sr. C/P)
Trevor has waited for his time playing behind one of the best catchers in the area the last 2 seasons. He works hard, is coachable, and looks like a much more confident player this season.
Derek King (Jr. UTIL/P) – .280 BA, 7 Runs, 14 Hits, 12 RBIs, 1 W, 2.84 ERA, 12.1 IP, 20 Ks
Derek can great versatility like many others on this tea. He is another solid reliever who should play a big role on the mound as the season progresses.
Key Newcomers:
AJ Borger (Jr. OF/P)
AJ should provide solid innings on the mound and factor into the mix in the outfield.
Mason George (Jr. INF/P)
Mason will is a corner infielder with a lot of upside. He will get a chance to prove himself on the mound and will be important if we want to have success.
Jason Carrelli (Soph. INF)
Jason is a ballplayer. He plays the game with grit and brings intangibles in the infield. He will be asked to play up the middle and will be important if we want to have sustained success.
Brady Reph (Soph. UTIL/P)
Brady has the ability to play every position on the field. He will be asked to play all over and provide innings on the mound. Another 10th grader who will be key to us having success.
2024 Outlook: We are versatile and young but nobody cares about youth so we must grow up fast if we want to be playing in the post season. If we compete from game one and grow as the season progresses, we should be in a position to fight for post season play.
