Key Returning Players:
Levi Johnson is a 10th grader. He was my #2 singles player last year, and I have high hopes for him. He has strong technique and skills so I’m hoping he will come back stronger this year.
Other key returnees will be Hadlee Lake, Colton Ruzicka, and Anderson Garcia, all 11th graders. They were my doubles starters, and I foresee some of them moving up on the ladder.
Others to watch:
Kevin O’Neil (11th) and Josh Merkel (12th) were exhibition players last year and they both improved a lot since last year. I hope to see them in starting lineup. Lauryn Harris (12th), Bryce Willis (11th), and Matt Breiner (10th) are new to the team, and they are picking up the strokes very fast, and they can hustle.
2025 Outlook:
Our strength is my players really love the game, they are athletic, they listen, and they work on trying to improve their weaknesses. They are respectful and supportive of their team members, their coach, can the opposing team players.
I would say they still need to work on improving their strokes, serves, and strategy.
