2022-23 Boys Basketball Preview: Panther Valley HS

Overall outlook:  We are very excited not only about the 2022-2023 version of the Panthers, but where our program is at right now.   We return our top six players and have added some talented underclassmen that will provide depth and competition.  We want to raise our bar from consistently making playoffs to consistently competing for championships.  The Schuylkill League and District XI AAA is full of high quality teams, but we feel we have the talent and experience to compete with anyone.

Jr. F Stephen Hood- leading scorer fr and soph seasons.  15pts, 8 reb per game, 33 three’s
Jr. PG Chase Weaver- 11.7ppg, 40 three’s
Sr. G/F Bradley Hood- 35 three’s, 5.7ppg
Jr. G Drew Kokinda- 5.3ppg, 32 three’s
Sr F Michael Pascoe- all time leading rusher, 4 sport standout, schuylkill league shot put champ, 7.5 ppg, 6.3 rebs
Sr. F Austin Hadley- football standout, defense and rebounding specialist, 6.5 rebs per game
 
Sr. F Cody Orsulak- defensive and rebounding depth, D 2 baseball commit
Sr. F Riley Hoben
Sr. G Trey McAndrew
Jr G/F Hayden Goida
