Parkland’s Brynn Dreisbach named to the Prep Volleyball Soph 79 list

When you think about Parkland girls Volleyball, the first thing that comes to mind is Success. Year after year, Head coach Mike Krause gets the best out of his players and his team, who are always in contention for not only league and District titles but also State Championships.

And last year was no different, as the Trojans won the their first East Penn Conference Championship since 2015 to go along with their 6th straight District XI 4A Championship while advancing to the the PIAA final four.

One reason for their success, was the play of Sophomore Brynn Dreisbach, who earlier this month was named to the Prep Volleyball Soph 79 list(a compilation of the Top 79 performances by a Sophomore last fall). Dreisbach was the only Pennsylvania Volleyball player on the list.

The All-State player had 515 kills in 2019, which was second in the state and first in the 4A class. Dreisbach also had a team high 509 receptions, 342 digs, 29 blocks to go along with 37 aces while serving at 96.5 percent which is the best in team history.

Dreisbach along with Head Coach Mike Krause joined the D11Sports.com Podcast to talk about her recognition and also their expectations for the upcoming season.
