Saucon Valley Names New Football Coach

In three years as the head coach for Saucon Valley, Phil Sams went 27-10 which included three straight District 11 Championship appearances an a Colonial League title in 2016. But, Sams stepped down after the 2018 season, to spend more time with his family.

After an extensive search, Saucon Valley has hired within, promoting Assistant Coach Brad Trembler to Head Coach. The 2000 Emmaus High School graduate is excited about the new opportunity and is looking forward to the upcoming season.

Saucon Valley lost 18 seniors to graduation including nine 2-way starters but will return their quarterback. Trembler feels that he has a number of players ready to fill the voids at other positions.

The Panthers open the season with Southern Lehigh.
