Whitehall High School is proud to announce the hiring of Eric Schmitt as its next Head Coach in Baseball.
Coach Schmitt comes to Whitehall with experiences at the high school, college, and adult baseball levels. On the high school level, Coach Schmitt has coached at both Wilson Area and Freedom High Schools in the Lehigh Valley, as well as spending some time at Northampton Community College as an assistant coach from 2003-08. He spent 14 seasons managing the Martins Creek club in the Blue Mountain League and has coached in the Lehigh Valley Drive program as well as in the Rising Stars Baseball Academy. His experiences are diversified and varied.

As a self-admitted baseball nerd, we are looking forward to Coach Schmitt combining tried and true methods of baseball success with cutting edge technologies and techniques in today’s game. Coach Schmitt comes highly recommended by respected individuals in the baseball community. Our baseball program has had some traditional success but we are looking toward Coach Schmitt to take our players and program to another level of success.”
