The Northwestern Girls Lacrosse Team Debuts

After a long wait and a couple of weeks of introductory practices, the Northwestern Lehigh Girls Lacrosse team hit the turf for the first time as a varsity sport. The Tigers traveled to Andrew S Leh Stadium in Nazareth on Saturday, falling to the Blue Eagles 20-1.

Despite the opening day loss, head coach Lissa Opolsky is very excited for her girls as they take part in the new venture. The Tigers will go back to the practice field this week with their next game still a few days away, on the road Saturday, March 30, against Liberty.

Northwestern will play their first home game April 2 at 4 pm against Saucon Valley.
