The Trojans fall to familiar foe in State semifinals

The Parkland Trojans went head to head with Bishop Shanahan on Tuesday night in the PIAA 4A Volleyball semifinals. This marked the 4th meeting between the two teams in the same round with the Trojans losing the prior three times. And on this night at Spring-Ford High School, Bishop Shanahan once again prevailed, as they swept the Trojans 25-20, 25-14, 25-21.

The District XI champs proved no match for Bishop Shanahan, who played excellent from start to finish and were led by Cara Shultz. Parkland sees their season come to an end at 19-6, after winning the league and District Championships.

The season meanwhile continues for Bishop Shanahan as they head to the Championship game on Saturday.
