The Trojans set high expectations for 2019

The 2018 Football season did not go the way the Parkland Trojans envisioned as they finished just 7-5 overall. And with that, their streak of six straight District 11 Championships came to an end.

But with a new year come new expectations and Head Coach Tim Moncman likes the makeup of his team. A solid core of players return to this years lineup including Penn State recruit Nick Dawkins who will anchor the offensive line. He will look to open holes for Angel Santos and Isiah Rico, who returns to the lineup after missing the final seven games of the 2018 campaign because of injury.

Parkland also will bring back a number of other skill players at the wide receiver, tight end and linebacker positions.

Moncman enters his 4th year with Parkland and his 14th overall season as a Head Coach. The Trojans will have their preseason scrimmage on Saturday when they travel to Wilson-West Lawn. They open the year on Friday August 23rd on the road at Northampton to take on the Konkrete Kids.
