Sport: Track and Field (B/G)

Team Name: Central Catholic Vikings/Vikettes

Key Players Lost:
Clark Gulycz: EPC, District 11 2A and State Champion, shot put

Key Returning Players:
Girls:
Milly Wolf (Sr.), jumps: qualified for Districts but had off high jump meet there
Angie Braun (Sr.), jumps: end of season injury caused her to miss postseason
Emerson Springs (Jr.), jumps: end of season injury hampered her in postseason

Boys:
Duke Ebert (Sr.), distance: District 11 2a 1600 winner: Duke qualified for States his first three years, freshman 3200 relay runner, sophomore and junior in 1600
Will Haring (Jr.), 4th in 2A 3200m run: improves every year, hard working and dedicated

Key Newcomers: Anna Quinn (Sr.) sprints: Anna participated sophomore year as a solid jumper; took one year off to concentrate on volleyball and is now concentrating on sprints. Athletic and talented.

2025 Outlook: Strength is definitely in the jumps, especially with the girls. Talented group that continues to show promise. Question marks are health (kids we really have to rely on are multi-sport athletes who are also participating in club or AAU pursuits) and sprinting. New coach in that area with lots of kids, but many are young.
