VOLLEYBALL RECAP: Whitehall beats Nazareth Behind Balanced Effort

Whitehall put together a complete team performance to earn a straight-set victory over Nazareth, winning 25-20, 25-19, 25-22 in convincing fashion.

Whitehall controlled the pace throughout the match, using a strong mix of offense, defense, and net play to keep Nazareth from gaining momentum. The Zephyrs showed balance on both sides of the ball, with several players stepping up in key moments.

Leading the attack for Whitehall was Cole Richards, who delivered an all-around standout performance with 8 kills, 8 digs, and 6 blocks. Richards was a force at the net, disrupting Nazareth’s offense while also contributing consistently on the attack.

Matching Richards offensively was Omari Ratliff, who added 8 kills and 2 blocks, helping Whitehall maintain pressure throughout the match with timely swings and strong play at the net.

Running the offense was Kole Moyer, who dished out 29 assists while adding 8 digs and 2 aces. Moyer’s ability to distribute the ball efficiently kept Whitehall’s hitters involved and Nazareth’s defense off balance.

Defensively, Drew Sodl anchored the back row with a team-high 14 digs and chipped in 1 ace, helping Whitehall sustain rallies and limit Nazareth’s scoring opportunities.

With the win, Whitehall next opponent is Parkland. The Trojans beat Dieruff 3-0.
