Natelie Berwick was the winning pitcher for Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity. Berwick surrendered one run on seven hits over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking one.
Ashley Carlson took the loss for Pocono Mountain East. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out six.
Bailey Goldberg, Chloe Carmella, and Lilah Guthy each collected one hit to lead the Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity. Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error.

Goldberg’s Walk-off Picture Perfect Ending In Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity’s Softball Victory Over Pocono Mountain East
Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity took Thursday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 4-3 walk-off victory over Pocono Mountain East. The game was tied at three with Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity batting in the bottom of the seventh when Bailey Goldberg’s sac fly scored one run for the Mountaineers.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity tied things up at three when Lilah Guthy doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Guthy got the win for Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity. The righty went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out four and walking zero.
Natalie Berwick started the game for Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity. The right-hander allowed five hits and three runs over four innings, striking out five and walking one. Jadelyn VanWinkle started the game for Pocono Mountain East. The hurler surrendered three runs on three hits over six innings, striking out four.
Chloe Carmella went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Stroudsburg Mountaineers Varsity in hits.
