Pine Grove’s Callee Leffler Headlines District 11’s Strong Showing on 2026 PaHSSBCA All-State Teams

District 11 once again proved it is one of Pennsylvania’s premier softball hotbeds, placing players across every classification on the 2026 Pennsylvania High School Softball Coaches Association (PaHSSBCA) All-State Teams. Leading the way was Pine Grove senior Callee Leffler, who earned the state’s highest individual honor by being named the 2026 Overall Player of the Year.

Leffler capped one of the most decorated careers in Pine Grove history with a dominant senior season, helping guide the Cardinals through another successful campaign while establishing herself as one of the elite players in Pennsylvania. Already recognized as one of the state’s top hitters and defensive outfielders, Leffler’s all-around game made her the clear choice for the association’s highest honor.

In addition to earning Overall Player of the Year, Leffler was selected as a Class 3A First Team All-State outfielder, joining several Pine Grove teammates on the statewide squad.

Pine Grove Dominates Class 3A

No District 11 program enjoyed a stronger All-State presence than Pine Grove.

The Cardinals placed seven players on the Class 3A teams, reflecting the depth that made them one of the Commonwealth’s top programs throughout the season.

First Team selections included pitcher Jamie Dinger, second baseman Lily Flynn, and outfielder Callee Leffler. Second Team honors went to pitcher Chelcy Clark, catcher Tailyn Bohr, third baseman Meadow Umbenhauer, and shortstop Hannah Aungst. Fellow District 11 standout Catie Russo of Palisades earned First Team honors at shortstop.

District 11 Well Represented Across Pennsylvania

District 11 schools were recognized throughout all six PIAA classifications.

Class 1A
Tri-Valley’s Summer Cupsta earned First Team honors at second base, while teammate’s Olivia Witmer and Savanna Stiely was named to the Second Team. Marian Catholic’s Malina Lechter was selected First Team at third base, while Hailey Treskolasky and DeAnna Pugh earned Second Team recognition.

Class 2A
Schuylkill Haven and Williams Valley continued District 11’s strong tradition in Class 2A. Schuylkill Haven’s Aisley Jenan earned First Team honors at third base, while Joie Schoffstall and Allison Scherer were Second Team selections. Williams Valley placed Quin Smeltz, Cierra Brill, Ella Kobularik, and Olivia Hand on the Second Team.

Class 3A
Pine Grove led the way with seven All-State selections, while Palisades’ Catie Russo earned First Team honors at shortstop.

Class 4A
Blue Mountain, Northwestern Lehigh, and North Schuylkill combined for an impressive collection of honors. Blue Mountain featured First Team selections Emily Leonard, Anna Borden, and Addyson Fisburn, while Emmerson Frie earned Second Team honors. Northwestern Lehigh’s Abby Dunstan, Ella Bressi, and Emma Freeman were First Team picks, with Natalie Conner earning Second Team recognition. North Schuylkill’s Gianna Capone and Jordanna Frie made the First Team, while pitcher Brigid Flynn was selected to the Second Team.

Class 5A
District 11 was represented by two of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference’s top programs. Pocono Mountain East’s Karlie Jurasits earned First Team honors at shortstop, while Pleasant Valley’s Rylan Knapp joined her on the First Team at the same position.

Class 6A
District 11 schools once again showcased their depth in the state’s largest classification. Nazareth’s Taylor Friel earned First Team honors at third base. Emmaus placed Taylor Hauver on the First Team and Mari Eiswerth and Aby Derr on the Second Team. Liberty’s Addy Smith was recognized as a First Team utility player, while Easton’s Emily Materna earned Second Team honors at second base.
