Head Coach: Rick Dreves

“Following the graduation of 10 key seniors, the squad enters a major rebuilding phase this fall. Despite the roster turnover, a talented group of returning players is eager to step into larger roles, take over varsity minutes, and drive team growth in a highly competitive Colonial League.”

Key Offense:
Halie Thomas (Sr., Captain): Providing veteran leadership and attack from the front.
Hailey Dougherty (Jr.) & Maeve Cassaday (Jr.): Junior duo expected to anchor the midfield and forward push.
Athena Kolokas (Sr.): Senior experience adding depth to the attack.
Leah Rutkauskas (So.) & Peyton Froshour (Jr.): Underclassmen dynamic looking to create scoring opportunities.

Key Defense:
Maddy Evans (Sr., Captain) & Aubrey Kosalko (Sr., Captain): Senior captain pair providing leadership and stability to anchor the backline.
Abby Sheaffer (So.) & Ava Hutter (Jr.): Key defensive returners

Varsity Contributors to Watch:
Sabrina Romero (Jr., GK): Stepping up between the posts to lead the defense.
Sophia Harper (So.), Sydney Williams (So.), & Sophia Russell (So.): A strong sophomore core ready to make an immediate impact on the field.

2026 Outlook: With so many new faces stepping into varsity roles, the focus this fall is centered on building team chemistry, staying grounded, and committing to steady growth each week. Success will come through patience, work ethic, and organized defensive play as the group learns to navigate a demanding Colonial League schedule together.

(we lost multiple starters throughout last season with injuries but had alot of players step up to fill the roles and gain experience which is a huge + for this season) Had a strong pre-season and looking forward to the upcoming season and what the team is able to accomplish.

Sport:  Soccer (G)

Team Name: Northwestern Lehigh

League: Colonial

2025 Record: 26-1

Key Players Lost:
Olivia Reinhart, GK
Sofia Sikora, Def
Marley Delillo, Def
Kiersten Klein, Mid
MyKaela Yanders, Mid
Kherington Yezik, Mid
Addy Kahl, Def

Key Returning Players:
Sophia Schaffer, Mid, Sr. (57 goals, 37 assists) Committed to Delaware
– One of the best playmakers in the area with a combination of speed, technical skill, and finishing ability. Sees the field extremely well to make dynamic runs and play balls to her teammates. Will rotate between a few different positions to move her around the field.

Lexi Kercher, Mid, Sr. – Committed to Gannon
– Lexi is a stalwart in the middle of the field and helps us isolate some of the opposing teams better attacking players.

Dylan Ritter, Def, Sr.
Dylan changes our style of play drastically when she is on the field. She sees the field brilliantly and acts as a field general/coach on the field with her communication. Her ability to get up the field and involved in the attack helps our possession oriented style of play.

Amelia Glassberg, Fwd, Sr. (17 goals, 24 assists)
Amelia is a strong target who plays up top and is able to hold off defenders and release quick shots with a great finishing ability.

Juliet Snyder, Mid, Jr. (33 goals, 19 assists)
Juliet will be one of the strongest players on the field every game, she has an amazing shooting ability, and she has the IQ and skill to play passes that most athletes can’t.

Ava Snyder, Def/Mid, So.
Ava played the most minutes out of any player on our team last season as a freshman. She is able to play all over the field and will contribute on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Anchored a defense that allowed 10 goals in 27 games last season.

Maddy Milks, Def, Jr.
Maddy stepped in as a starter last season as a Sophomore. She is a speedy defender who will play box to box and the ability to out muscle opposing players.

Hannah Newcomer, GK, Sr.
After backing up Olivia Reinhart (55 shutouts in 3 seasons), Hannah will step in as one of our goalies to see significant playing time this season. Has excellent springs to move side to side between the posts.

Key Newcomers:
Hadley Beitler, Def, So.
Kaylynn Knauss, Mid, Fr.
Mila Stofanek, Def., Fr.
Brystol Hamm, GK, Fr.
Ellie Fluke, Fwd., Fr.
Maddy Bisner, Mid, So.
Jalyssa Kubat, Mid, Fr.
Sophia Varverellis, Mid, Fr.
Addy Metzger, Def., Fr.
Annabelle Dynda, Def, So.
Rylin Snyder, Def, So.

2026 Outlook: We return a core group of seniors who have contributed to 3 League and District Championships and 3 straight State Semifinal appearances with a state title. Led by Sophia Schaffer up front and Dylan Ritter in the defense we can lean on our leadership and experience. We are excited to pair a ton of youth with that experience as 5-7 freshman will get regular minutes and will contribute in all thirds of the field. We will have the ability to score in a variety of ways and the potential to have 5-6 players score
15+ goals.

We have technical ability all over the field so our possession style of play will keep us on the attack for long periods of time. How our defense comes together and meshes, and who steps up as our vocal leader at CB will be our biggest question mark. I fully anticipate conceding some goals early with extremely hard non-league games to start the season (Nazareth, Abington Heights, Blue Mountain), but that will help us learn and grow to be playing the style we want when playoffs roll around.

Assistant Coaches:
John MacDonald

Sport: Soccer (G)

Team Name: Phillipsburg Stateliners

League: Skyland Conference – Raritan

2025 Record: 9-10-1

Aniya Gerdes, defender
Julia Stetner, Gk and Midfield
Guilia Buttita, Midfield

Hope Garcia, Senior, Defender, career 3 goals, 5 assists, Committed to Marywood University, strong and industrious defender
Bridget Fischer, Senior, Defender
Morgan Beenders, Sophomore, Midfielder
Madelyn Tate, Senior, Midfielder

Key Newcomers:
Mia Mora, Freshman, Midfielder
Tatiana Escobar, Freshman, Forward
Bella Geleta, Sophomore, Defender

2026 Outlook: Strengths: We have a strong returning core with eleven seniors, and our depth should allow us to compete at a high level. We also have a competitive group of players who are willing to work and push each other every day. Our ability to adjust tactically should be another strength.

Question Marks: Our biggest question will be how consistently we can perform against the top teams on our schedule. If we can develop a consistent hardworking attitude and continue improving throughout the season, I believe we have the potential to have a very successful year.

Head Coach: Chris Bleam

School: Whitehall

League: EPC

Returning players:
Collene Sommers, Sr. 1st team EPC all star, 49g, 18a. Kutztown University
Cora Musslemen, Sr. GK, 2nd team EPC all star, 4 yr. starter
Olivia Tabarani, D Sr. 4yr starter

Paula Londono, Sr. new to team last year, has shown tremendous growth since last season
Larken Good, Jr.plays all positions Jr. 3 yr starter, 2nd team EPC all star

2026 Outlook: We have some outstanding players and will need effective senior leadership to be successful. We will need to assimilate many young players into the team effectively which may take some time. Depth is an issue but we have a solid core that should allow us to be successful in the EPC and when healthy, be able to challenge the conference elites.
