Emmaus Hires Louis Orth As Head Baseball Coach

Rebecca George, Director of Athletics for Emmaus High School announced: At the East Penn School Board Meeting held on September 28, 2026, Louis Orth was approved to be the Emmaus High School Head Boys Baseball Coach.

Louis Orth has coached at high school, college, and professional levels (baseball / football) for over thirty years. He is currently one of the Directors of the Phillies Baseball Academy as well as one of our Assistant Football Coaches at Emmaus High School. Coach Lou also coaches the Special Olympics Baseball Team for Pennsylvania and South Jersey.

Prior to Emmaus he was the Assistant Baseball and Football Coach at Schuylkill Valley High School and served as the Assistant Head Baseball Coach at New Hope Solebury. Before New Hope Coach Louis served as the Head Baseball and Football Coach at Valley Forge Military College where he was the Head Coach for seven years until Valley Forge closed its school. He is the current Head Coach and player for the Bux Mont MSBL since 1995.
