A New Era Underway for Northwestern Lehigh

The Northwestern Boys Lacrosse team traveled to Nazareth on Saturday to participate in their first ever game as a Varsity Sport. The Tigers, who are led by first-year head coach Marcus Janda, were on the losing end in their inaugural game, falling to the Blue Eagles 16-1.

But, despite the loss, Janda is excited about giving the students from Northwestern Lehigh the opportunity to take part in a new sport. The Tigers will play an independent schedule in 2019 since the Colonial League doesn’t offer Lacrosse.

Northwestern will hit the road on Monday to next take on Scranton Prep and then travel to Dallas on Wednesday. The Tigers will play their first home game on Saturday, March 30, when they host Liberty at 11 am.
