Blue Mountain and Pine Grove faced off in the Schuylkill League Boys Soccer Finals at Lehighton. Blue Mountain entered with an overall record of 15-4 while Pine Grove entered with an overall record of 13-5-1.
The first score of the game took place deep in the first half on a goal by Ryan Mundy giving Blue Mountain a 1-0 lead. Minutes later, Aidan Valentine added another goal for Blue Mountain with just under two minutes remaining in the first half. Mountain led Pine Grove 2-0 at the break. Great defenses by both teams and unsuccessful shots on goal led to a scoreless second half en route to a Blue Mountain victory over Pine Grove by a score of 2-0.
