Coaches Comments: Davonte is 100% committed to Track & Field, and we appreciate the dedication he puts forth on our Track & Field team. Davonte is another athlete who didn’t get the chance to display his progress last season due to COVID, and he is now a senior ready to show off all of his talents. His performance in shot put and discus will be well appreciated this season, as we expect him to be one of our top boys’ throwers. He will be a key contributor on our sprints team as well. The future is bright for Davonte and we only see him improving year after year, as he sets his eyes on the goal of competing in college. He has gained tremendous confidence and strength this past year, and we can’t wait to see what he does this season!
