The Palisades Girls Tennis Team hit the courts on Monday afternoon with a large amount of energy and high spirits for the upcoming match. Though only previously having two wins, Palisades was ready to fight for the W because it was their very own Senior Night. They were ready to give their seniors the send off they deserved.
With the banners and streamers flying in Palisades purple and gold, the match against Quakertown began. For special circumstances regarding the difference in league and number of players, a total of seven matches were played: four singles and three doubles.
Despite hard fighting by Palisades, Quakertown took home the win with a score of 5-2. Palisades claimed victories in their 4th singles and 1st doubles matches.

After the match, Palisades’ three seniors were honored for their hard work and dedication: Erin Lyn DeAngelis, Katelyn Richter, and Cassie Foresman.
Palisades Coach Reppert thought his team, “…did great this season.” He continued by saying, “I think that they really stepped up to the challenges that they had. We had a complete turnover of our team besides Katherine Kelly and everyone really rose to the occasion.”
Palisades Girls Tennis completed their final regular season match on Tuesday, away at Liberty High School in Bethlehem. They lost 0-6.
