Watchung Hills hosted Phillipsburg at Bowlero on Tuesday. Phillipsburg had previously bowled at Bowlero the week prior.
The Phillipsburg boys dominated Watchung 7-0. In game one, they defeated Watchung 743 to 630. In game two, Phillipsburg shot 881 to Watchung’s 642. PBurg continued to dominate in game three where they beat Watchung Hills 832 to 718. They were led by Marvin Jaquish (599) and Garrett Bobrowski who had a career high of 582. Phillipsburg boys’ bowling is currently 3-2 on the season.
The Phillipsburg girls defeated Watchung 7-0. They shot a 909 in game one against Watchung’s 414. In game two, they continued to dominate. Phillipsburg shot 755 and Watchung shot 517. In game three, Phillipsburg remained victorious, defeating Watchung 667 to 486. PBurg Sophmore Raylyn Cook had a high game of 205–her first ever 200 game. The Phillipsburg girls are now undefeated 5-0.
Phillipsburg faces Warren Tech for an out-of-conference game on Thursday at Bel Pike Lanes.
