Phillipsburg traveled to Bowlero to face off against Bridgewater on Tuesday, December 12. P’Burg had their first experience with string pins in the match.
The Phillipsburg girls dominated against Bridgewater, winning 7-0. Savannah Rutar (622) and Shannon Bickert (619) both had strong series which helped in the victory.
The Phillipsburg boys struggled against Bridgewater, losing 7-0. Zach Leon led Bridgewater with a 622. For the Stateliners, Deshawn Reed bowled a 602.
The P’Burg girls are currently 3-0 on the season, while the boys are 1-2. They host Franklin on Thursday.
