Head Coach: James Beebe (Sixth season), 40-24-5 overall record

Assistant Coaches:
Terrance Smith
Declan Coyne

Sport: Soccer (B)

Team Name: Stroudsburg Mounties

League: EPC

2021 Record: 10-8-1

Key Players Lost:
Brendan Dewar, D
Emilio Merino, D
Jonathan Robles, D
Alex Torres, M/F

Key Returning Players:
Nick Milonas, Sr, M. The heart of the team. Tireless, technical, and a spirited leader.

Raphael Pessoa, Sr, D. A formidable force as CB. Strong, fast, big presence. Has been winning tackles and blocking shots since he starting nearly every game as a Freshman.

Jack Gerken, Sr. D. The other “half” of the defensive Twin Towers. Big body, big in the air, and good speed. Versatile defender with an enormous wingspan who also spends time in the goal.

Tyler Musser, Sr. F. Perhaps the fastest player in the league with a potent left foot. Very few people can catch him.

Logan Weitzmann, Jr. M, the heart of the midfield. Nearly half our goals last year were assisted by him. Smart, unselfish, and smooth ball handler.

Nick Radoi, Jr. F, Led team in goals last year (11) and should have many more this season. Exceptional speed and ball control. Quick feet and quick trigger, he scores in the smallest of windows

Key Newcomers:
Jacob Lukaszewski, Sr. F. returning after missing the 2021 season. Tall and fast striker who will get out in front like a true #9, but also assist from deeper lying positions. Runs with speed at the goal and with dangerous finishing quality.

2022 Outlook: “We have great depth at nearly every position. Speedy forwards, technically skilled midfielders, and two of the biggest CBs in the league. In order to be successful, we cannot be selfish and must learn that each of our roles contributes to the bigger picture. Rebuilding is over. This is it. We expect to challenge for the league title this year because we have so many players who have grown up as starters from a young age. We’ll see if they can combine their experience with maturity.”
