The season comes to an end for Southern Lehigh

The Southern Lehigh Football team made history in 2019 finishing with a 12-2 record while capturing both the Colonial and District XI Championships. But, on Friday night they saw their season come to an end to Archbishop Wood, a team that has won five state titles over the last eight years.

The Viking set the tone with a long opening drive that led to a touchdown and eventually a 21-0 lead and from there never looked back as they cruised to the 41-7 win over the Spartans.

The lone touchdown for Southern Lehigh came from Asher Smith, his 42nd of the season. aSmith finished as the schools single season touchdown leader and single season rushing leader.

Toman says goodbye to almost a dozen seniors but was extremely proud of how his team performed all year.Some of those seniors include Smith, Cam Fisher along with Hunter Hughes.
